Given the title, I expected this to be by Willem, but it's fine the way it is.

Thanks, Dmitri.

I'm just guessing here, but is that the Clarion river?

Geese and ducks, I think. smiley - smiley I'm afraid I couldn't get any closer, as we hadn't got a boat.

I imagined the Allegheny to be larger. Is the photo upstream, or has Pennsylvania had the same drought Massachusetts has had?

It is upstream, but the river's not *that* small. smiley - laugh It's broader at its mouth, though, in Pittsburgh. This photo was taken near Parker, PA.

And yes, we've had drought, and all the rivers are down. I can imagine how bad the Chemung looks about now. smiley - laugh You can see from some of the grasses on the side that the river's way down. The Clarion's down, too - we've noticed that all the places where steps go down to the river, they stop before you get there.
