There's a lot to like about lilies.
They seem to be growing everywhere these days, in various shades of yellow, orange, light strawberry, etc.

They are wonderful lilies indeed - lovely bright colour, and they look excellent against the texture of the wall

Lilies come in many different forms. It's a fairly large family.
I'm intrigued by the so-called "Chocolate Lily." (I know I'm drifting from the topic slightly. My apologies) The most prolific lilies in my yard are Spiderworts (or spider lilies). They can produce new blooms daily for a long period. (My brother curses them because they self-seed widely, and he gets tired of pulling them up.)
There are shy, evanescent trout Lilies behind my house (the leaves are mottled like trout).
Anyway, you can always pique my interest with pictures of lilies.
