Ks it raining in the video? How did you get the light and shadow to move around the way they did?

I'll tell you what caught my eye this afternoon as I was getting ready for my shower: I happened to look out the tiny window next to my tub, and there, on my neighbor;s 'awn, was a big fat woodchuck eating grass.

Now, I don't have any objection to woodchucks that eat grass. My neighbor probably likes it that there's less grass to mow. This particular woodchuck has been in my yard as well, and has nibbled at Echinacea and Rudbeckia, and milkweed.

Anyway, that was one of the rare moments when I wished I could have filmed that scene. The woodchuck looked quite content. I made disapproving noises at it, and it couldn't figure where my noises were cming from.

Back to the robin in you video: I hope you were generous in paying the poor bird.

Lovely video indeed - very relaxing, with the piano music accompanying the birdsong and fascinating to study the birds' movements in slow motion.

The light and shadow effects are interesting, too - looks like the artistic video effect, plus the slow motion made the movement of tree shadows look different.

Would have been good if you could have got video of your woodchuck to share it with us, paulh, but at least you were able to enjoy the scene yourself

Thanks, Sasha! I keep slowing the birds down so I can study how their wings move - so I end up using them in videos to see what I can make with them.

I want to see more woodchucks, too - we did see one, but it was just at dark, so no video. Fortunately, the bear hasn't been around lately.

I'm sure that's unbearable.
