This, to me, is a gorgeous expression of photographic fragrance, mvp!

Photographic fragrance? Yes! The images immediately awaken the sensory memory of the fragrance of a rose.

And the roses in the lower photo have a slightly different fragrance to the single one, this I seem to remember, although I couldn't describe it in words.

Ah yes, the single rose, you have expressed the folds so perfectly, with the deepening shades of pink. I always did love rose folds.

The lower photo is a galaxy of blooms! It brings upon me a deep joy. I always refer to these type as wild roses, I don't know why.

I bet you know the botanical names?

Are you pleased with your pics? I feel sure you have written rose poems, I wonder how many?

Thank you!

The rose with lots of flowers has a name - Ballerina - but my guess is that it's not far removed from the wild rose.

I love the way the single rose starts pink as a bud, then gradually turns paler, becoming white when fully open. I thought of trying to express that in a poem but haven't succeeded yet!smiley - rose

Ballerina! Dancing roses.

Oh, so the single rose will be white when unfolded? (checks pic) Ah I see the outer petal that's most unfolded is almost white. I had no idea about this! What a magical transformation! I wonder what's the reason behind the colour change?

Poem now! I insist. Well, OK, not right now, smiley - rofl but soon.

Ballerina is a beautiful rose, with so many blooms at once. It does so well I agree with you that it must be not far removed from the wild rose smiley - ok Great photo, with the blue of the sky contrasting perfectly with the pink and green.

The single rose photo is lovely, too - perfect view of the shape of the petals, and that is amazing that it fades to white from that lovely delicate fragrant pink as it opens.

My rose has peach blooms A87913236 - lovely to see other types, too smiley - biggrin

I love the peach bloom, Sasha! Ah, the folds of a rose. Photographic fragrance.

And this one shares the name of your love, what a wonderful tribute.

I love the peachy hue, how it blends with the pale turquoise of the table, a watercolour!

Great project! Displaying the image with all the different effects! I couldn't possibly choose which one I love the best.

My little Panasonic Lumix has these effects, I've always adored the Dramatic (I think my equivalent is called Impressive Art) and Cross Process!

I can never figure out what Cross Process in fact is, but I use it when I want to emphasise the colour and go a bit peculiar and otherworldly.

Lovely lovely roses!!

Thank you smiley - biggrin

Ah, yes - Impressive Art is the name of the setting I called Dramatic - very pleasing that my middle-sized Panasonic Lumix has the same effects as your little Panasonic Lumix smiley - biggrin

Lovely roses indeed - I definitely imagine my peach rose has a different fragrance (with more spicy notes) to mvp's lovely delicate pink rose (which must surely smell deliciously sweet) smiley - magicsmiley - rose
