Once upon a time someone did a film with *too much motorcycle footage and Steve McQueen*...nah only joking, no such thing as too much bike and Steve Mac. The end.

I'm now envisioning a new historical series: Steve McQueen (or Damien Lewis, who looks like him to me) rides motorcycles through the Battle of Agincourt, down the Oregon Trail, etc, etc.

Motorcycles through the Battle of Agincourt?
Forgive me for being annoying, but I remember a scene in a Monty Python episode in which an avant-garde Japanese film is discussed, one in which Graham Chapman is dressed up as Queen Elizabeth I (who at the time didn't know there would be any other Queens Elizabeth.
It made an impression. I remember it vividly.

And just how does Damien Lewis even remotely compare with Mr McQ? Unless he rides a Triumph..,then that's ok...Google time

Damian Lewis (sorry, spelling) is an Old Etonian who tends to play really mean psychopaths in the US. He does this with total conviction.
Did you ever see 'The Escapist' with Brian Cox? Lewis chops somebody's finger off in a prison. He's a menacing sort of Old Etonian...
In the US, we like him because of a TV series he did called 'Life'. He played an ex-con police detective (long backstory) who is alternately into and breaking heads. It's hilarious and spiritual at the same time, and also features a favourite of ours named Garrett Dillahunt - a good old boy who once again trots out his fake Russian accent. (You would like that series, if you haven't seen it. There's a bit of magical realism in. The writing is awesomely good.)

Is Brian Cox the only actor to have played in two different films called Red?
True story.
FWR Posted Jun 14, 2020
One for Awix? Cox has the most outrageous Russian accent in Red with Bruce Willis. But he does get off with Helen Mirren, so maybe there's something in it?

Helen Mirren, oh, my... speaking of her and Russians, did you see her in 'White Nights'? That woman could walk across a practice stage in high heels and scorch the floorboards.

Yes, she is quite a big deal.
