I'm glad those photos of tarantulas were in color. Beautiful color scheme! They are said t be docile, and rarely bite humans.

I don't believe FWR found them in his garden, though!

Thankfully not! ( They were in a primary school) never said I had them in my garden honest!

The black and whites are the nearest we have, still beautiful.

Yes, that is a great photo of the tarantula, showing the colours and the hairs. I find spiders scary, but the black and white photos show up the fascinating details so I have been able to look at them without feeling too jumpy

So, arachnophobia not much of an issue for you?

Black and whites are the common garden spider, much safer than having tarantulas on your plants!

Common garden spiders are not too bad - garden being the operative word... Spiders in the house I don't like A87951342 - I do have a bit of arachnophobia, but it has got a bit better over time because of inadvertent exposure therapy...

Daddy Longlegs are fascinating.

Spiders with a bit of color on them can be appreciated as part of nature's artwork.

Spiders are rather sensitive. I doubt that any of tyhem would want to go out of their way to hurt us.

There used to be a spider spinning a web on the other side of the screen window in my shower. (It ha a crank to open up the outside window. The spider had gotten in between the screen and the outside window, and was catching enough insects to keep going -- until one day in January when it got so cold that the spider froze.
