These would be good choices for gardeno n the Moon:
Coreopsis "Moonbeam"
Moonflower
Selene [in Greek mythology, Selene was Goddess of the Moon
Cowslips [Technically, Cows' lips. A cow jumped over the Moon]
Blue Flag iris, together with Red Hot Pokers and White orcids
[Because flags were planted on the Moon by the people in the Apollo !! mission

I don't remember what flowers the Japanese gardener planted on the moon. I doubt they involved English puns.

My post was a Q.E.D. it showed the kind of thinking that I do when I'm myself.
I don't think any of the flowers on my list would grow on the Moon's surface, as there's no viable atmosphere.
You could also consider Man-in the-Moon Marigolds. Doctor Doolittle would probably water them.
If we were talking about Mars, I would suggest growing potatoes.
