If the sun were half sunk below the horizon, I'd understand the amount of darkness in the sky. But it's still pretty far up there.
Or maybe this is perfectly normal, and I just haven't noticed it before.

This shot was taken from under the porch, you'll notice. With the bright sun, there's too much contrast for the camera to handle.

I don't notice nearly enough .
It's a nice picture anyway. I wasn't criticizing it. How could I speak ill of blue sky?
