When I encounter an interesting plant, I always try to get both a wide shot and a close up.
This particular one made my colleagues stop and wait for me on the way to grabbing lunch that day.

Yes, this is a fascinating photo - I particularly like the gradation of tones in the bottom right hand corner, and the way the leaf shapes are highlighted to perfection

A full-colo(u)r picture of a white rose would not be necessary.

I have mixed feelings about attempts to colorize old black and white movies. Fred and Ginger, for instance, could not have been improved upon in colo(u)r.
