A Conversation for Silhouettes

I love the contrasts between the trees, which are black, upright plumes and the sunset sky, which is blue and gold and flowing.

How much lovelier the scene will look in Spring, when leaves are coming out.
Granted, the sunsets in February have a delicacy that is well captured by watercolors. I prefer the delicate pinks and purples of Rhododendron blossoms, the obvious violets of Violet and the many white blossoms that you find on Lilies of the Valley, Anemones, white Triliums, etc.
I'll even take dandelions.
Not that I'm knocking this photo. I'm sure the same scene would look interesting in Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
(And, no, I haven't gotten to the point of photographing any of these. . I have the real things in my yard...)
