Some say wind farms are ruining the countryside, personally I'm fascinated by these things. Nice contrast against the grey sky and the contrasting juxtaposition of nature and technology too. I like wind turbines!

A beautiful look at those non-carcinogenic windmills. Great contrast between weather, natural growth, and man-made shapes.

I'm sympathetic to the folks who want to phase out fossil fuels.I'm also sympathetic to birds (and the birdlovers who, er, love them). Too many birds get killed flying into cell phone towers and probably windmills. I wonder if chain link fences could be placed around the windmills to keep the birds safe. 
or are the turbines moving slowly enough that the birds would see them and stay safe?
