Is it a bird? Is it a nest? No it's a pair of size nines! Lovely use of contrast, a photo that makes you go searching around.

In cities like Philadelphia, they do this with power lines. I found this variation most scenic.

I haven't a clue when in the past 14 years that I pass this tree on a dayly basis it got shoe'd. Maybe the bird know. Could be magpies.
