Every 240 million years or so, a supernova occurs within 33 light years of earth.

On average, a supernova raises the earth's temperature between three and four degrees centigrade.

Rigel and Antares have the greatest mass, but they are pretty far away form us. Sop, unless one of them moves a lot closer just before blowing, we might be okay.

Spica is the one I would worry most about.
