Just another rotten old tree stump. But what lovely detail and textures Paige has captured. The frosty looking bracken gives a magical feel to the background. Lovely shot.
DG:
Not black-and-white, because the details stand out better with a bit of colour. But almost sepia-toned with all those plants in winter. I find the intricacy of the stump fascinating. Wood is such a wonderful substance in all its forms.
