I took a course in Eighteenth century French novels. I'm pretty sure they assigned some Rousseau. Also some Diderot and Voltaire. I have a certain fondness for French baroque music. The French were baroque in many ways, and music was the least of it.....

Maybe it is time to write something meaningful from the point of view of the zombies. Their angst to return to their weak previous forms. Their right of free lurking, the trouble of body part loss and mice. Hang on, Pratchett did some of that already.
