Sasha's shot of this street lamp shows the dramatic effects lens flare can produce. I like the way the post is illuminated, gradually fading into the night. The double flares give an abstract feeling to an everyday object.

To me, all these photos say something you can't say in words. Look at it and you know something about light that you didn't know before, but try to put it into words, and you can't quite get there.
