Here is an Entry about an Aerodrome that I enjoyed visiting recently (although I was glad to not be able to go into the dark and dank air raid shelter, given that the siren that went off was a false alarm)

Yes, aeroplanes aren't my specialist subject, but it was fascinating to learn about that slice of history smiley - ok

I must confess I did wonder what a 'Belfast Hangar' was – you have a link at the second time you mention it but you may wish to move the link up to the first mention, or add a smiley - footprintssmiley - musicalnote. I did find an interesting webpage, though: http://www.abct.org.uk/airfield-buildings/hangar-types/
Was the company Martin Hearn Ltd purchased by Vauxhall, or had it already gone out of business and Vauxhall just bought the land?
'A Radar training school' – I never knew that Radar goes to schoolsmiley - prof to learn how to go 'smiley - bleep - smiley - bleep', I'd always assumed it just did it automaticallysmiley - silly.
I must admit I didn't quite get why the Hooton Park Trust was created rather than let the Griffin Trust do the same thing, even though the former is a non-profit company and the latter a chatter*.

<BB<

* I noticed I wrote 'chatter' rather than 'charity' but thought I'd leave the typo in 'cos it put a smiley - smiley on my face.

Martin Hearn Ltd did go out of business, so I added that in smiley - ok

I dug into the politics of the Griffin Trust vs the Hooton Park Trust a bit more and updated the Entry accordingly smiley - ok

"the latter a chatter" - I like that, yes smiley - laugh
