Very little contrast in this image makes the eyes search out the bird. Most would wait for a sunny crisp day to shoot this bridge in colour, but the fogginess of the image gives a great feel to the overall shot. Positioning the tower at the far edge of the shot gives a natural frame.

DG:

I was thrown off by this image at first - anybody with visual impairment will be - but I stopped trying to focus and decided that fog doesn't just creep in on little cat feet, but also flies murkily. smiley - smiley
