Have we taken into account the US/British difference in a billion? Cup of tea while we find our keys? Yey...unless you're American...what nationalities are the 7.5 people?

Knock off the non bikes and we're down to 26 per hour for a hundred years. No wee stops or tea obvs...

But...and it's a biggy...if any of the seven and a half people are married, they'll spend that much time waiting for their wife to adjust her gloves that the whole thing becomes impossible to work out!

Unless they're married to a bottom half, in which case gloves wouldn't be an issue...hmmm

To anyone not in the know: this frantic poster is on night shift, and it appears to be doing his head in.
This musical interlude has no motorbikes. But there is a zombie.

Head well and truly done in! Full of cold, on nights so I can't take my usual remedy which involves copious amounts of magical liquid that is bottled in Scotland

I also have a cold. But alas, my cure is that old Appalachian standby, the green liquid that apparently gives all hillbillies weird dreams.
I wouldn't know. I mean, what would be different?

I'm breathing just fine without any kind of bike. There are times when I don't even need a car. I've walked to the grocery store and back a number of times. I live a quarter of a mile form a bus stop, and with transfers to two subway lines I can get to a major international airport and fly anywhere in he world. There may be places where I don't *want* to fly, but it's theoretically possible.
With this best of all possible worlds, how would anyone entice me onto a two-wheeled, self-pedaled vehicle that would subject me to blunt trauma within minutes?

Why indeed,I totally agree, horrible things. That's why God, in her infinite wisdom, invented....ooh look, we're back to the beginning!

Yes, we've circled around, but look on the bright side: we didn't take as long to do it as Wagner did in his ring cycle.

Soy, FW> <soy<
I was not tying to say that bikes wee horrible at all. They look nice, and there are people who enjoy riding them. Two billion people can't be faulted for using them.
*In some ways, our society went down the wrong path by abandoning bikes as a major mode of transportation. But the infernal combustion combustion machine pushed them to the side of he road (often literally). This may have been especially sad for feebs like me, as a wider array of types of bikes might have produced models that I *could* ride.
Let's be friends here. There are times when I envy you, but can't join you.

Nice photo DG, have I said I love motorcycles but hate bicycles yet?
Ride, drive, pedal or Choo Choo, personal choice. Too tired, each to their own. Simple photography challenge comments from me from now on!
Have a good day.
