FWR:

Another of those everyday items we tend to ignore, but offer a decent photograph if we take the time to look!

Was it fluke? The S? Or another nice bit of attention to detail that adds to this quirky image?

DG:

Thanks both!

It was an eclectic mix of polystyrene pieces, mostly pink figure of eights and green sausages, but there were 3 ‘S’s, so that amused me! Taking the colour out made a more intriguing image indeed smiley - biggrin

Yep, dark matter is just the packing material that was left over form the Big bang.

Aren't those things called packing peanuts, or something similar? I hear that some of them are made from edible ingredients instead of styrofoam, but somehow I have never felt the slightest interest in tasting one of them. smiley - yuk

Caiman raptor elk - Inside big box, thinking.

The corn based version is even sold as construction material/toy. Just make it damp and it sticks together.

That's good to hear that there are biodegradable versions in this day and age smiley - ok

On the plus side, the packing material I received had been reused from another parcel, and will be reused again soon so it is not as much waste as it could have been (plus it provided photo opportunities, so that put it to good use smiley - winkeye)
