Maybe you can feel flattered that I got that far down the page before misreading things....

A genus with only one species would be what might be called a unicorn. This rockjumnper, handsome devil that he is, is almost a unicorn. smiley - smiley

Hello! I hope you could at least appreciate the picture in spite of being bleary-eyed! The actual underpant-area of this one is sadly not bright reddish … but anyways. I might make a list of the single-species genera of South Africa … there are quite a few such actual 'unicorns'!

I just got back from a shopping mall where I browsed in Amazon's bookstore. I enjoyed looking art "Field guide to dumb birds of North America" by Matt Kracht. " smiley - laugh Kracht is definitely *not* a bird-lover, though he is very funny when he insults them. smiley - winkeye
