Ok, I'm jealous now! Beautiful picture postcard view CRE.
What makes it for me is the contrast between the tree in the foreground and the clouds coming over the mountains. The tiny houses add to the grandeur of the scene.
Altering the white balance on your camera can dramatically alter the contrast on landscape shots. Try experimenting whilst you're out and about to see what best suits the natural light.

The contrast tones work well the black of the trees and shadows in the foreground balanced by the clouds on the mountains add a feeling of space.
The mix of textures of the trees near the town and the clouds over the mountains work together, the more you look the more you notice.

Tis a fine view indeed. Those little clouds, mmm I think I'm in love with them, like, they are just so photogenic and arrived there just for you to see when you clicked your shutter.
Unless there were other people taking the same pic. Haha. Each pic would have been different though. Your clouds are unique.
This is my theory. Take ten different people taking a pic of, say, a building, at the same time. No two pics will be alike. Yes, different angles, focus etc but even the building, the subject, will be different. Miniscule differenes in each pic. Light on wall, passing shadow. Etc. No two moments in the time are the same.
Unless they are.
Huh? Not sure if my theory sounds so good now I write it down.
OK OK I go.

That is a stunningly beautiful landscape - I like how the black and white allows the focus to be on all the different textures, and the different tones in the depth of the scene...
