Okay, point conceded, dear editor. The appearance of sleep can be a good example of the virtues of stealth.

I have changed my tag line. Let us not get into this again....

I have a tin ear when it comes to potentially causing offense. Either that, or I wanted the world's cats to get the message that they are much cuter and more lovable when they are active and bright-eyed. Yes, they can sleep all they want; I just want to see them at their active best, which I think is very good. (Seriously.)

But there is no accounting for taste. All of us Posties are artists, and artists have major artistic differences.

And here is a major concession on my part: in Peterson's "twelve rules for life," rule number 12 is "Pet a cat when you encounter one in the street."

Enough said.
