Thanos looks a lot like Hellboy.
he higher the odds of a particular plan working, the more likely it is that it actually *will* work if a movie's plot requires it to work. 
Something unusual must have happened. Captain America looks happy.
I thought of a few work-arounds during the film.
If even *I* could think of them, what about people who actually understand this stuff? And yet, I can't tell you what they were, because I might have to reveal some spoilers. 
I sometimes feel like walking out of a movie early if I don't like what seems to be coming. I did not do that. All tight, all right, I love Rocket Raccoon, so I didn't want to miss the chance that he would be in some of the scenes. :-0
