I like the effect of the light on the leaves.
It's clearly a big tree and I think it's a willow.
One thing I know about willows is that they break, so I hope it's not too close to the nearest house.

My first guess was that it was a Live Oak. Oaks are nearly indestructible, though you don't want to be under one of their branches if it should come down. 
In the process of thinking about my late father's life, it occurred to me to remark, "Dad never met a spruce tree he didn't like." I guess that explains why I insisted on planting dwarf Alberta spruces along the entrance to our Park. There are eleven of them, and they look atmospheric with snow on them. I quipped that they were White Snow and the Eleven dwarfs!
