I like the effect of the light on the leaves.smiley - smiley It's clearly a big tree and I think it's a willow.


One thing I know about willows is that they break, so I hope it's not too close to the nearest house.

My first guess was that it was a Live Oak. Oaks are nearly indestructible, though you don't want to be under one of their branches if it should come down. smiley - bruised

In the process of thinking about my late father's life, it occurred to me to remark, "Dad never met a spruce tree he didn't like." I guess that explains why I insisted on planting dwarf Alberta spruces along the entrance to our Park. There are eleven of them, and they look atmospheric with snow on them. I quipped that they were White Snow and the Eleven dwarfs! smiley - groan
