Jazz Babies Concert #6: The Shuberts do Schubert

Once upon a time, there was a composer named Franz Schubert. Somewhat later, there were those Broadway impresarios of renown, the Shubert Brothers. Add Sigmund Romberg of Budapest in the mix, take a Viennese operetta called Das Dreimäderlhaus, and you have Blossom Time. Believe it or not, this was a big hit in 1921.
