One can never have too many cute ducks in your area -- or too few Canada Geese.

The birds always feel welcome in my yard, because I leave sunflower seedheads intact throughout the winter. It's self-service, but it's reliable.

That is excellent that birds find and enjoy the sunflower seedheads in your yard I put prepared food out, but either way we get the pleasure of the birds' songs as they feed

I'm lucky that Canada Geese don't seem to be too much of a menace in my area (although I can't deny there are a large number around) but one can never have too many cute ducks around indeed! A87902571

My sister and her husband put out a couple hundred pounds of sunflower seeds for the birds every year. I hope they're not just providing prey for the local hawks!
