And the battle may not end next year! Though 'Clash of the Titans' (1981) was Harryhausen's last film, after he had made it he had tried to interest investors in creating a similar-themed film, 'Force of the Trojans'. A script was developed along with several monster designs. It didn't get any interest at the time but now it has been announced that it may get made after all (though years after Harryhausen's death): http://www.rayharryhausen.com/force-of-the-trojans
