I just got back form the movies. In "Nutcracker and the four realms," mice start out as the bad guys, then they become the good guys.

Never trust those mice. You all know what happens in the end..

If the mice have a Bible of their own, I expect that their Book of Genesis has them banished from Eden for some reason, after which they will have to hide away and basically steal whatever food they can, in perpetuity.
I can never get over how cute they are, even as they are destructive en masse.
If you figure a thousand mice per square mile in forested land, and 20 million square miles of forest in the world, that works out to twenty million mice.
BUT there are plenty of mice hiding in people's houses in the towns and cities. And that's not counting research labs. Jackson Labs in Maine supplies other labs with three million mice a year.

Mice=cute, but murder on the wiring. The cats find them tasty...one thing about them: if the cats get one, make sure they eat it.
In Philadelphia one year, I kept complaining about the bad smell from where I was sitting at my computer. It went on for weeks, but Elektra couldn't smell it from where she sat....the stench abated at last.
Finally, somebody moved the dog's toy box and discovered the mummified corpse of a mouse that crawled under it to die...

I've killed 45 mice so far this year. More will invade as the weatehr cools.
I found a dead rat on my front lawn last week.

I like cats. I used to babysit an orange cat for some friends who went away from time to time. The cat is long gone.
Since then, I've bought enough fine china that I would worry about the cat knocking it on the floor and breaking it. Also, some of my fellow cat lovers say that it's not unusual for a cat to shred their towels and dresses. Okay, so I don't have any dresses to shred, but I would still worry whenever I stepped out.

It is true that a certain amount of household rearrangement takes place with cats.
They have done a job on the window blinds behind the bed....my fault, I didn't leave them enough room to get onto the window sill, so they cut a hole....

There was a program a few year ago and it showed that advert, it said that the animal trainer (of many types of animals) used "friendship between species" (brought up together) and there was no camera trickery etc - it actually happened
