Duet with an accordian?

I'm not going to learn to play a heckelphone, but I used to take accordian lessons. I won't take up the accordian again unless someone writes a duet for the two instruments.
Which I hope never happens.

I think I used to play "lady of Spain" on my accordian. I was no Lawrence Welk. I haven no idea why my mother got the idea of having me take accordian lessons. Maybe she thought I felt left out because my brother and sister were committing crimes against music on their clarinets. My sister tried to teach me some basic guitar chords. I was never much of a string instrument buff. 
After the accordian wore out, I tried playing the melodica, which ultimately melted in an overheated car in Nevada....
