Haha, yes they did have a French menu available, but we were there as part of a convention-like event... There were a lot of us, so we needed a set menu in advance, and with only a few French speakers, having an English translation made sense (or *would* have made sense, if done properly!).
Turns out even the non-French speakers asked for the French menu to be posted on the thread, after all. But it was a nice thought on their part, really.
I had the chocolate cake, of course.

Glad the duck leg wipes were nice!
The chocolate fondant sounds a relatively safe choice, but I'm not sure how well custard and Chantilly cream go together... Was it Crème Anglaise or some other kind of custard?
