I couldn't find a good summary of European arts history online. There are hundreds of Entries on wikipedia about different subjects but nothing understandable and short enough for normal people.
I hope this will be a start.

This is a great introduction for the non-expert! Interesting information and a good general overview. Thanks for doing this!
There are minor spelling and preposition problems. Sub can sort them out, unless you want an itemised list.
One thing: 'the Greek antiquity' should always be just 'Greek antiquity' in English.

Thank you for taking on this topic - your Entry will be an asset to the Guide Fascinating what Entries are already in the Guide about Ancient Greece, but this Entry fills a large gap and brings those Entries together via links - excellent!
I studied Classical History for a while, and find Ancient Greek art very appealing, even though these days we don't see statues etc in their full colour glory. This handy timeline summary would have been very useful to put what I was learning into proper context I focused on Greek Vase Painting, so it is excellent to appreciate what other developments were happening alongside that
"Details were scratched (incised?) " - incised is the word
I wonder if you want to specifically mention the terms 'Black Figure Vases' and 'Red Figure Vases'?
I studied Herodotus and the history of the wars, but didn't realise Arts History was first studied in the Hellenistic period
Excellent concluding paragraph to your Entry

Thanks a lot for reading! I'm very happy that I got it right.
Made these changes. I originally had 'black figure painting' and 'red figure painting' in the Entry, then thought it's maybe too much and deleted it. Put it back in now.

This, of course, reminds me of the naughty postcards they sell in Greece....photos of certain dodgy red-figure and black-figure vases...there were some particularly racy ones from Samothraki....hint to artist....
