Thank you for this - really good to see the differences between cameras and auto capabilities

I've got a digital bridge camera rather than a DSLR, but the built in lens is 20mm-1200mm equivalent, so the macro capabilities are impressive for a relatively lightweight camera.

I have to be careful with camera shake, but I have developed the technique of pressing and holding the shutter button to avoid the wobble of the release. Sometimes the auto focus struggles to see what I'm trying to get it to look at, too, but when it gets it right the results are rather pleasing even if I do say so myself A87913696

I'm a bit of a bee fancier. My coneflowers and zucchini plants and beans attract a lot of them. It's a very synergistic garden.
