Isn't this really a parable about wayward kids or criminals? Do we want to really put up with all the trouble these so-an-sos's are causing the rest of us, namely adults and society as a smooth running whole? Of course they look cute in their cots (and cages) and are hugely entertaining in a world, boring in its unchanging-ness (I know it's not standard English but you get the gist?)but do we really want these things living in our neighbourhood? Excitement or certainty, what would you chose?

Yes and it is really our old friends thanatos and eros, arguing about existence or patience and building versus impatience and destroying all contact, all links which Trump is doing in America with everything and everyone - a defense reaction to change or evolution (Look up the Greek myths and the birth of Zeus and the new gods, as opposed to the demise of the old ones i.e. the Titans).
