If the mice come back to m house, can I borrow some of your cats? 
I've had mice sneak right up onto my bed while I was eating crackers out of a bowl. It ducked for cover when I turned to look at the bowl.
I want the mice to be afraid of something, and a cat would do the trick.

I highly recommend cats for this purpose. 
Our cats are indoor cats, and Molly got a mouse one day - much to the surprise of Farmer Hoggett.
Mice get in, they don't get out, I'm afraid.
