I had no idea there was so much background for such films as "Three Caballeros" -- which I saw on Disney's TV show in the early 1960s. I didn't know that Disney made educational films on health issues for the South American audience.

They did, although they were very cheap and basic. I got them on DVD on the 'Walt Disney Treasures: On the Front Line' boxset which was sold a few years ago (don't know if it is still available but I bought it mainly for 'Victory Thru Air Power') but though they are very repetitive they are a fascinating look at the era.
