Yes, the patterns of winter branches are attractive. 
Snow has its beauty too.
But not grey. Round here, over Christmas, it was very grey - the sort of weather where the light seems to have lost its battle with dark. Very depressing.

Beautiful pic! Love the silvery grey, and the branch pattern.
The clear definition makes me want to tune into a silvery grey clear crisp atmospheric brainwave and live there forever.
