My Latest Tractor

With apologies to Robert Browning.
A tractor trophy
That's my latest tractor up against the wall,
Looking as if were running. I call
That trophy a wonder, considering
We had the only tractor in that category, and there it stands.
Would you like to sit and look at it? I'm
Kind of proud. Not that I built the tractor myself
Or anything, but I talked Dad into signing up
For the contest, and helped wash it and get it ready for show.
The tractor itself? Oh, it sits out back
In the big barn, cozy for the winter, ready for new glory.
Next spring: action on the farming front.
I'm sure there'll be plenty to do.
And there it stands, atop the fireplace,
As if running. Would you like to go upstairs?
I've got a minidrone I'd like to show you.
It's a beauty!
