A Conversation for Writing Right with Dmitri: Salad or Stew?

I've always argued in favour of notebooks, in which you can write those memories before they vanish or get mixed up.
But I've ended up with a huge pile of notebooks and I don't know where to look in them! Perhaps it would be better to have a series of small computer files, with titles like 'Incident on train', so you know where to look?

I think you're right - I'm a big fan of cross-referencing and hyperlinking, myself. And your PC can search all your titles in seconds. Yesterday, I told it I wanted my MovieMaker program.
It also informed me that I had a cartoon with 'movie' in the title, and an article.
