When I had checked into my motel the night before (I hadn't gone to bed yet, so it was the night before, despite being near 2am at that point
) I had requested a later check out tie, so I had until noon instead of 11am. As it turned out, I could've made the regular time, but, oh, well... 'Twas nice to not be rushed, anyway. Tom and the girls picked me up from the lobby, and we went to In-N-Out Burger (which I had been craving for ages because we never go to Medford...). During the lunch rush. We managed to get 3 seats for 4 bodies
though it wasn't too long before someone left, and the girls each got to have a stool.
We had a nice drive home, and the dogs acted like I had been gone for simply AGES. Souvenirs were shown and distributed, and food was sampled. Sleeping in my own bed again was nice...
