Another great quiz - Lug's a good word I know from Scouse (lug'oles an' all that) so I spotted the odd one out, and I got all the matching right this time smiley - ok

Some surprises in the main round (especially Luck) but some I knew (I've heard of Lantern Jaas, but I can't remember why that would be!) I liked the options for Louster smiley - laugh

" Is Long the sort of person to enjoy the chance to talk about the weather, or will he manage to find a way to get a spot of the wold ultraviolence into the conversation?" smiley - roflsmiley - ok

I like the way Percy Stone's poem is a reply to Long's example smiley - laugh "'Tis allus nammet time I louz, wi' you young slaabacks" indeed...

Thank you for quoting some more of Stone's work, too smiley - rose

I'm glad you're still enjoying the quiz – I don’t know what I'll do with my time when I get to the end as I enjoy writing it. smiley - smiley

I've found Stone to be a very impressive poet who sadly didn't seem to have much impact in his lifetime as a poet but is chiefly remembered as an architect (appropriate with his surname).
