Great account, Sasha Q, very atmospheric! Check the photo! Cool gear.

Reminded me of our visits to the Brighton Pride. Haven't recovered yet. Quite wild, and very celebratory.

Amazing, the real rainbow appearing! Like a Pride spirit watching over.

I like the description of you and your Mum following the fellow in the blue shorts. smiley - rofl

Nice one.

cc smiley - ok

I'm impressed you went to Brighton Pride, and I'm not surprised you haven't recovered yet - the one I went to was a baby Pride, which was enough for my first one... Very well organised, though, with something for everyone smiley - ok

Glad you enjoyed the description smiley - laughsmiley - blush

I can't quite remember, because the music was too loud for me to hear properly, but I think it was a couple of songs from the musical Chicago that we saw. Not Abba, though, so they weren't Dancing Queens...

Hadn't thought of 'Dancing Queen'smiley - laugh I was thinking a recreation of the end scene from 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert' would be fun, but I guess nowadays most people would associate 'Mamma Mia' with the musical 'Mamma Mia' instead.smiley - whistlesmiley - musicalnote

'Knowing Me, Knowing You' will forever be associated with Alan Partridge, though.

Ah - that's a film I haven't seen yet. I have seen Mamma Mia, though, so I do indeed associate the song with it. I've seen Alan Partridge, and also Gimme Gimme Gimme, so I associate the Abba songs with them too. smiley - laughsmiley - ok

I had thought of paraphrasing a famous quote from 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert' and then decided not to (it would have worked if Pride had been held in Liverpool but not Chester) but if you don't know the film you wouldn't have got the reference which would have left you confused and thinking 'smiley - huh'

It's a great fun – especially if you like to see an international smiley - bus.
