These guys are lovely, as is your painting. I wish we had these at our birdfeeder---but that is really unlikely.

Our most colourful are the goldfinches and a pretty grosbeak. Dmitri's sister is convinced that the latter is rather dumb but it is pretty. It is a little too early to put out the hummingbird nectar yet---but if it get to be 60 degrees in the daytime here consistently I'll put it up. We have gotten some rather high winds in our electrical storms and I don't want them to break the feeder. I like your pretty waxbills as well.
