If you've not been, it's super easy to get to from Manchester via train and a good day out for all the wonderful Art and Museums.

I've got the itinerary pretty well buttoned up by this point--had a rough couple months at work, and trip planning was a wonderful displacement activity. Besides, HI is taking me to see waterfalls, and a cave that has a waterfall in it, and another waterfall.

What can I say--I like waterfallssmiley - laugh

I didn't even know there were any waterfalls in England... well except for the city councils.

Are they under ground?

The ones on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail aren't http://ingletonwaterfallstrail.co.uk/ though the one in White Scar Cave is.

Ones you can look at, ones you can walk behind, ones you can swim under, ones that freeze in winter and look like Narnia, and ones in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland too.
