A bit of a mixed day today, but overall very good indeed.
Disappointing news about the Spending Review meaning that I'm still not likely to get recognition for acting up apart from a thank you, but I don't think I need to feel guilty about wanting fair treatment, so we'll see what happens next month...
On the other hand, I did some intense novelling this evening and I won NaNoWriMo! 
I find out next week what the prize is, but I've already got my certificate and virtual badge, so I feel really good.
I know there's more to do before I'll be ready to have it printed, but it is a great milestone to know that 50,000 words are done
