These are remarkable animals, thanks for sharing them with us. It is sort of a shame that they are nocturnal because they are very photogenic, but on the other hand it's good to avoid humans. They are very niftily marked. 
I can't say much for their diet but that is an awful lot of protein out there. Who knows, maybe with all the drastic climate change going on bug diets may very well be more of humans diet too---but They'll take a bit of processing since our internal gastric flora won't be able to cope with them as readily as these guys!

Thanks very much Elektra! These little critters deserve much more good press. Over here many peoples have a tradition of eating various bugs in fact ... termites, grasshoppers, beetles, moth grubs ...
