Another informative Entry
I do have a couple of questions:
What is a medium format camera?
The paragraph that mentions lazy photography is in the Bridge Camera Entry too - does it apply here, or was it copied accidentally?

Have you seen the old fashioned 120 Kodak roll film, produces a 2.5"negative or slide. thats the film for medium format cameras
Put Bronica ETRS in the browser (images) that is a medium format camera.

So in the 60s and 70s it used to be 35mm, standard format, 120 medium format then Studio or plate cameras so big they were hardly portable

Bob , the price tag of three and a half grand , for a camera and a few lenses, you can pay that for quite a few body only DSLRs. Maybe a less specific number would be appropriate. I hope youre going to write an entry on lenses, enjoy reading your stuff.

A good entry.
I would like it to be tidied up, as there are quite a few grammatical, punctuation and typo errors in there which, as it is your entry, you may want to sort, rather than a sub-editor.
Or ask for help, maybe paragraph by paragraph? Just a suggestion.
You mention a dSLR's use on microscopes and telescopes, and yet the main area I've seen the general public use it is in digiscoping. This is where a camera is connected to a telescope, often for the purposes of photographing birds, but also for any wildlife.

I'm a bit worried about the references to the bridge camera, though, as your bridge camera Entry references the SLR, so the definition might not be clear to people who don't have much knowledge of cameras already...
Is the SLR operation essentially point and click, or is it about selecting the right mode and then pointing and clicking, or something else?

The introduction section is very clear now - thank you
Thanks again for writing these Entries - really interesting to compare all three types of camera, and I'm learning a lot
