Actually I said 'not seriously injured', the farrier had a very sore belly for the next week or two, but nothing that couldn't be treated from a ranch house first aid kit.
When we spoke about it latter he agreed it was a great lark.

Well old barb wire could have nasty things on it requiring tetnus shots. He was lucky.
