Brilliant account! smiley - laughsmiley - roflsmiley - laugh

There was a randonnee near me at the weekend, and I particularly noticed that the cyclists had to stop at the red traffic lights, but they were in fairly small clumps so all got through the green lights quite quickly. Not as many traffic lights round here as there are in London, though...

I look forward to the next installment of the ride smiley - ok

There's a shocking amount of traffic lights in London - I think there's only 2 sets of traffic lights in my home town; one set down by the railway bridge, and another at the other end of town next to the entrance to the swimming pool.

This week they have the SkyRide in Southampton, where they're closing all the roads in Southampton city centre for the day to allow cyclists a day to have the roads to themselves. Surely they could have done the same for London for one morning?
