Very handsome creature, I'm sorry it is so rare. I thought I had a cast iron stomach ---but strychnine is too much for me.

Hi Elektra! Glad you liked the article and thanks for the links. Re the first one: don't they realize that today there are still places where people can have encounters with free, wild animals? This is a very spiritual experience for me, and a feeling of oneness between humans and the rest of nature is absolutely vital for our collective souls.
The geep was nice too! I haven't heard before of this happening *naturally* and the offspring surviving.
I'm very happy that the elk made it at last! That's also quite a herd. And they look very elegant as they leap. I must try this as a visualisation when I have trouble falling asleep.
